1966 Shelby GT350 Hertz - one of 50 cars originally finished in Wimbledon White, and one of approximately 100 Hertz fitted with a steel hood. This Hertz is a serious collector piece with a comprehensive restoration performed in 2012. The car is known to and documented by the SAAC registry. While it was not originally a 4-speed car, it was converted early on in its life, and as anyone who's driven them knows, the 4-speed manual is much to be preferred for driving enjoyment. Only 85 of the Hertz GT350s were originally fitted with a 4-speed gearbox. This car is in excellent condition both mechanically and cosmetically. It fires up instantly, every time, with no drama, and drives very well. The restoration was done to a high standard, and the correct Hertz logo wheels with Goodyear Blue Streak tires are on the car. Documentation includes the original Shelby invoice to Herff Motor Co, as well as a few early receipts and a letter from the SAAC confirming the car's legitimacy. This is a beautiful piece of machinery, worthy of any collection, and enjoyable to drive. www.switchcars.com
