Build history and specifications:
BODY:
• Bare metal restoration, body work and paint, January 06 to June 06 (All work done by Stoddard Porsche Audi to highest standards).
• Reassembly from ‘June ’06 to August ’06.
• OEM factory steel RS rear flares (ordered from Germany).
• OEM factory steel RS rear bumpers (ordered from Germany).
• OEM factory aluminum RS rockers (factory NOS from Stoddard).
• OEM factory steel ‘S’ front bumper.
• All chrome replated.
• New OEM windshield.
• All new rubber seals.
• Flag mirrors installed.
• Aftermarket fiberglass Duck Tail engine cover.
• Factory engine cover painted at the same time as rest of car so removal of the duck tail back to the factory cover will only require some labor.
• Engine grill attached with SS hardware and Porsche letters properly attached to the fiberglass just like the steel cover.
• Targa top was restored by Dan Petchel, specialist in targa top restorations and owner of Cars Inc.

INTERIOR:
• Entire interior was replaced with ’74 vintage components for convenience.
• Dash included center vent. Conversion included all the proper ductwork in the trunk.
• Door panels and pockets, rear deck and all carpeting were replaced.
• Leather center console was added.
• Installed 930S steering wheel and Recaro RS cloth seats.

MOTOR/TRANSMISSION:
• RS Spec motor built by Chris Moore of Autobahn Extremist.
• Work took place from November ’07 to June ’08.
• Approximately 8,000 miles on the motor/transmission as of October 2012.
• Rebuild included new crank, pistons and cylinders.
• Heads were rebuilt, bored oversized and polished to perfection.
• Mechanical injection pump restored and new fuel injectors.
• Meticulous build produced a 2.7L motor that puts 201 hp to the rear wheels. That is better than the factory RS build. Motor runs on 91 octane.
• Transmission was rebuilt in ’97 but was disassembled, inspected and resealed.
• All electronic ignition including Crain magnetic distributor internals and MSD ignition.
• Carrera oil cooler installed in Rt front fender with hard lines and thermostat. All OEM factory components.

SUSPENSION - FRONT:
• Replaced steel cross member with factory aluminum cross member.
• Front A-Arm bushings were replaced with Elephant Racing PolyBronze bushings. SS spherical washers and shims were used to align the a-arms so they were perfectly aligned and do not bind. With the front strut removed the a-arm swings like a pendulum but has no play.
• Front struts were replaced and the larger ‘A’ calipers installed.
• Ball joints and wheel bearings were replaced.
• Front torsion bars were replaced with Sway-A-Way 21mm bars.
• Bilstein shocks were sent back to the factory and revalved to match the new front torsion bars.
• Installed Weltmeister adjustable 22mm front sway bar using modified 930 sway bar bushings. Plastic bushings make noise after some wear - Bored-out 930 rubber bushings fixed this.
SUSPENSION - REAR:
• Replaced the steel trailing arms with Carrera aluminum arms.
• Installed new rear wheel bearings.
• Replaced spring plate bushings with new Netrix bushings.
• Rear torsion bars were replaced with Sway-A-Way 26mm bars.
• Bilstein shocks were sent back to the factory and revalve
