Honda's supercar, the NSX, broke ground in a number of ways. Titanium connecting rods, variable valve timing, an aluminum body and chassis—this is an advanced car by 2015 standards. Clean, untouched examples are getting very scarce, making this pristine and fully documented 19,800 mile example all the more desirable. The body and paint are in exceptional condition. This car has never been hit or damaged, and the paint is original save for the hood and passenger fender which were repainted due to extremely caustic bird droppings. The rest of the paint is shiny, even and clean. There are no dents to speak of and nothing more than a few very minor chips on the nose. The glass is excellent and the wheels and tires look their low mileage. That it's black is what makes it stand out since most NSX's are red. The interior looks like new as well. Like the rest of the car there are no modifications beyond an iPod connector cable plugged into the original radio. The seats are clean with little wear while the rest of the interior hard and soft surfaces look new. The radio has already been repaired and works as it should. Air conditioning is nice and cold thanks to a recent repair and conversion to R134a. The driving position is spot on, and you know you're in something special when you twist the key. Under the engine lid is the original and freshly serviced 3 liter V6. The timing belt, drive belts, fluids and filters were all changed less than 1000 miles ago in 2014. The engine revs smoothly and cleanly to its sky high redline, the transmission shifts perfectly and is NOT within the VIN range for snap ring issues. The chassis does whatever you ask it to, new pads and rotors bring you to a halt while newer Dunlop Direzza DZ102 tires keep you on the road. The chassis is extremely clean from the original undercoating to the original suspension and exhaust. This was a well cared for and always garaged car that was purchased new and passed on to that man's son.
