The 2016 Porsche 981 Boxster Spyder is one of the most exhilirating cars on the market today. Porsche applied its lightweight GT3 and RS philosophy to a more balanced mid-engined chassis, and the result is nothing short of fantastic. Mid-engined, light, balanced, and connected, the Spyder was only produced for one year alongside the Porsche Cayman GT4, and was only offered with a manual gearbox, solidifying it as a car made for enthusiasts. It weighs in at only 2900 lbs and puts out an impressive 375hp, utilizing the same 3.8L flat-6 from the 911 Carrera S, but with a far more intoxicating exhaust note.
This particular Spyder just came to us on trade from a valued client who purchased it as a Porsche Certified Pre-Owned on November 24, 2019. It was driven sparingly, and just received a fresh two-year service including oil change and brake flush in June of 2020.
