This 2006 Ford Shelby GT-H is No. 408 of just 500 examples produced as part of the modern Hertz “Rent-A-Racer” program. Finished in Black with Gold striping, the livery pays tribute to the original Shelby GT350-H models of the 1960s.
This Shelby GT-H was sold by SwitchCars in 2013 with only 1,300 miles and has recently been reacquired. Unlike many of these cars, this particular GT-H was purchased by a collector from Hertz before it was placed into rental service, ensuring that it is one of the finest examples available, and other than some stone chips on the front end, this car is very clean.
The odometer currently reads 11,168 miles, and this example retains its original Shelby GT-H specific components and factory upgrades. Power comes from a 4.6-liter V8 producing 325 horsepower, paired with a 5-speed automatic transmission. It was just recently serviced in November of 2025 with an oil/filter change, new wiper blades, new tires mounted and balanced, 4-wheel alignment, and new mass air flow sensor.
Notable details include the signed Carroll Shelby dash plaque as well as a passenger-side sun visor featuring an original Carroll Shelby signature. The car rides on factory 17” aluminum wheels and presents as a well-preserved, low-mile example of this limited-production Shelby.
