2004 Porsche 911 GT2

We're pleased to offer this collector-grade example of a 2004 Porsche "MKII" GT2. This car is all original with the exception of a Porsche Tequipment roll bar, the same as was optioned on the RoW Clubsport package. It has clear PPF over the entire car protecting the original Arctic Silver Metallic paint. It is complete with all books, two keys, and Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. It is INCREDIBLY well optioned, and according to the GTvault 996 GT2 database, it is the 3rd highest MSRP 996 GT2 for the USA - full factory options list is detailed below.

Porsche produced roughly 336 996.2 GT2 models for North America, including those for 2004 and 2005, with only 24 (according to GTvault, other sources quote 29) being the rarer, more powerful MKII variants with the M96/70S engine. Total 996 GT2 production for the 2001-2005 period was 1,287 units worldwide.

The 2004 MKII Variants (996.2)

  • These models are sometimes called "MKII variants" or "v2" of the 996 GT2.
  • They featured an uprated M96/70S engine with 483 horsepower.
  • Approximately 24 of these more powerful, desirable MKII versions were produced for North America, including 18 for 2004 and 6 for 2005.
