2000 Ford Mustang Cobra R #269 of 300 produced with only 2,150 original miles.
Built by Ford’s Special Vehicle Team as a no-compromise, track-focused Mustang, the 2000 Cobra R is one of the most collectible modern SVT models ever produced. Just 300 examples were built for the model year, and this car is number 269.
Power comes from a naturally aspirated 5.4-liter, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission sending power to the rear wheels. From the factory, the Cobra R featured upgraded suspension components, Brembo front brakes, an aggressive front splitter and rear wing, and weight-saving measures that set it apart from the standard Cobra.
This example remains completely stock, preserving its originality and collector appeal. It was originally purchased in Riverside, CA, where it remained with its first owner until 2021. The second owner, also located in Riverside, CA, retained the car through 2024. The third owner was a collector, and the car resided in Minneapolis until it was recently acquired by us.
The sale will include the Ford Special Vehicle Team Certificate of Authenticity, the original window sticker, the original purchase contract, two keys, and extensive SVT literature.
