1999 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 with only 37,250 miles! 1999 was the final model year, and just 287 VR-4s were imported to the United States.
Finished in Caracas Red over a Tan leather interior, both of which are in excellent condition. Power comes from a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 paired with a 6-speed manual transmission.
This 3000GT VR-4 is heavily modified and produces just under 500 awhp. Modifications include an Evo III 16G turbo setup, AEM standalone engine management system, an aftermarket turbo-back exhaust, AEM boost and AFR gauges, Tein lowering springs, and an Infinity Kappa sound system. The car was last tuned in 2007. It starts and runs reliably but the new buyer should have the car dyno tuned for better power delivery and their driving style.
Originally sold in Oregon, where it remained from 1999 to 2002, the car then relocated to Florida from 2002 to 2005 before being sold to Ohio in 2005, where it has resided since. It was stored during the winter months, as reflected in the clean underside photos.
The sale will include two keys, the owner’s manual, a car cover, and a dyno sheet.
