This is a two-owner car, purchased from the original owner in 2012 (Carfax shows three owners, as the car was transferred from a company to a personal name in 2022). It has no paintwork and no accident history. Light Carmine Red was a one-year-only color for the C5 Convertible. The original owner sent the car to John Lingenfelter for the 383ci stroker build, and added Z06 shocks, a lowered ride height, a Baer big brake kit, Mallett wheels, a 3.73 rear end (installed in 2011), Caravaggio power leather bucket seats, a K&N intake, a short shifter, Corsa headers and exhaust, and a new top. Under current ownership it has received a hardwired Escort 9500ci radar/laser system, a 1-4 skip shift bypass, a steering column lock bypass, and a trunk spring release. The car has been regularly serviced throughout ownership, including brake fluid, differential, and transmission flushes and oil changes. Recent service includes a new power steering pump with metal pulley, new accessory belt, brake flush, power steering flush, and oil change in September 2026, followed by new plugs and wires gapped to Lingenfelter spec (.035) and a fresh compression test and borescope inspection with excellent results in October 2026.
Sale includes two keys (fobs are not functional), the owner’s manual, a custom-fitted car cover, a branded windshield sun shade, a tire inflator kit with air compressor and Fix-a-Flat, an original C5 brochure, a front license plate surround, and service records from 2012 to present.
