Black over Black Porsche 993 C4S with some very tasteful upgrades. The C4S was the pinnacle of the naturally aspirated air cooled cars, with the 3.6L Mezger motor, widebody rear end, and larger Turbo brakes. This car has some additional upgrades which make it a pleasure to drive, including a complete manifold-back Fabspeed exhaust system with hi-flow cats (smog legal in California!), Bilstein PSS9 coilovers, stiffer swaybars, and HRE aluminum wheels. The interior has an upgraded sound system with Kenwood DVD screen as well as carbon-fiber added trim pieces and Porsche Carrera 4 aluminum door sill plates (not originall optioned from the factory - added afterwards).
Shortly before our purchase the car was treated to new brake rotors and pads and new Michelin tires. In preparation for sale we had the car given a thorough mechanical checkover by Steinel's Autowerks and had the secondary air injection system cleaned and serviced. Mechanically this car is in turn-key condition and it is a straight car with no underside corrosion and factory Cosmoline still present. Cosmetically it is a good driver quality, as it does have some wear consistent with the mileage. The car has a clean Carfax and no history of accidents but it has been repainted in its original color.
This is an excellent driver's car for somebody who wants to experience the C4S at a lower price point than a concours level garage queen. Buy, drive, and enjoy the upgraded handling and fantastic sound from the Fabspeed setup!
