This President is a Japanese-spec, right-hand-drive car that's titled in Ohio. Said to be imported from Japan in 2021, it's equipped with a metric instrument cluster, and the odometer shows about 43,650 kilometers, which represents approximately 27,120 miles.
Equipment includes 15-inch wheels, a hydraulic active suspension system, leather upholstery, wood interior trim, rear window curtains, heated, power-adjustable front and rear seats, rear A/C and audio controls, and more as detailed below. The car is highly original and one of the lowest mileage examples we've seen offered for sale.
Related to the Infiniti Q45, the third-generation President arrived in 1990 as the biggest and most luxurious sedan in the Nissan range. It was available with a short or a long wheelbase, and it offered rear-seat passengers limousine-like comfort. Nissan never sold the President in the United States, and production ended in 2002.
Power comes from a 4.5-liter V8, rated at 266 horsepower and 291 lb-ft of torque. Called "VH45DE" internally, it spins the rear wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission.
We previously sold this vehicle to an enthusiastic owner in 2022 who added about 3k miles and did a number of maintenance items and improvements to the car, including new tires, fuel filter, valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, coolant flush, new thermostat, oil change, accessory belts, transmission flush, and new Kenwood front door speakers. The car appears to have never seen winter or salty roads, and as a result is likely one of the best preserved examples you will be able to find. Included with the car is one key and the owners manuals, along with receipts for the most recent services mentioned above.
