Switchcars is the enthusiast’s sports car dealership. Specializing in modern and vintage European sports cars, as well as other unique and limited-production cars from all marques, we have a passion for cars and focus on buying and selling cars that we ourselves enjoy.
Switchcars was established in 2005 as a car-sourcing service, out of a fundamental belief that buying fun cars should be a fun experience - not the painful drudgery that is often associated with a trip to the car dealer. We've grown from a single-person operation with just a Blackberry and a computer to a fully staffed dealership, all the while keeping the original vision to make buying a dream car an enjoyable experience. Switchcars has been in Twinsburg, Ohio since 2012. Our detailer, Matt, has been with us since 2015, and our sales and management team Daniel and Thomas have been with Switchcars since 2020. Switchcars is self-funded, and does not have outside partners or inventory floorplans. What does this mean for you, the client? It means that your transaction will be simple, secure, and enjoyable.
We source cars from private collectors, existing customers, and dealers/wholesalers with whom we have an established relationship. We strive to verify the history and condition on every car we purchase, and to only buy honest cars from trusted sources. With a wide range of sports cars for sale ranging from track toys to concours queens, all are presented transparently and accurately to the best of our ability.
We provide all available documentation and service history to potential buyers, as well as conduct a thorough mechanical inspection and paint-gauge readings on our inventory prior to offering them for sale. Buyers are encouraged to verify condition to their satisfaction on any car we have for sale, and we welcome an independent pre-purchase inspection at a shop of your choice, because, no matter how much you may like or trust a dealer, cars are sold as-is, where-is, and a dealer is not omniscient when it comes to pre-owned classic cars.
