This example has been the subject of a comprehensive mechanical restoration completed between September 2025 and March 2026, including a full engine rebuild:

Cylinder Heads

  • Professionally reconditioned and resurfaced
  • New valve guides and OEM valve springs installed
  • Complete valve job performed, valves adjusted to factory spec

Engine Internals

  • New gasket set, timing chains, and rod bolts
  • New crankshaft and connecting rod bearings
  • New IMS bearings
  • New piston rings sized to OEM specifications
  • Oil pump cleaned and serviced, rocker shafts polished

Additional work included a new clutch assembly with throw-out bearing, slave cylinder, and pressure line; rebuilt power steering pump; new starter, alternator, distributor caps, rotors, spark plugs, crank angle sensor, and cylinder head temperature sensor; new Bilstein coilovers with H&R springs and front sway bar drop links; refinished Cup 1 style wheels; new windshield with OEM gasket; new deck lid shocks; new battery; fresh transmission fluid; and all new filters, belts, and rubber fuel and oil lines.

The Carfax shows an accident reported in 1999. The car appears to be repainted at some point in its life. The exterior and interior present very well, with the mechanical restoration and paint work this car makes for an excellent driver that is ready to be enjoyed.
