Available now is this 2008 Porsche GT3 finished in beautiful and rare Cobalt Blue Metallic. Only 23 997 GT3s came to North America in this color, with just 9 of them being optioned with PCCBs.
This GT3 is powered by the “Mezger” 3.6L Flat-6 and of course has a 6-speed manual gearbox, as there was no other option on the 997 GT cars. The engine produces 415hp and revs to an exciting 8400 RPM. The DME is very clean with just 28 ignitions showing in range one.
This is a guilt-free driver car, with 65k miles currently on the odometer. It does have some rock chips and exterior blemishes consistent with the mileage. The left rear fender was refinished by a previous owner – the receipt is on file. Clean Carfax with no accidents. The interior is very clean, and the seats show very little wear. The PCCBs show normal wear for the miles but no excessive delamination. Two small chips are visible in the edges of a couple of the rotors.
We just inspected and serviced this GT3 in preparation for sale, and we do have some service records with the car as well. The tires show full tread but were last replaced in 2017 – the last two owners have not put very many miles on the car. The vehicle is mostly stock, other than a thicker Alcantara steering wheel with yellow stitching, and an FVD center muffler bypass (does not affect emissions).
The interior specification of this car is fantastic – in addition to the Full Leather option, it has optional leather trim pieces throughout, giving the car a luxurious feel compared to the rather spartan base interior spec.
